Timber door side panel can be used as an alternative window. It‘s a good option for narrow spaces that are too small for sliding doors or folding doors to be installed. Side panel has the same brystning level and construction style as Panorama Nordic sliding doors. By installing side panels, you will get a contemporary and coherent interior design, as well as increasing the amount of daylight let in.

Added aluminium clad on the outside of the door side panel extends the characteristics of the timber product. Aluminium cladding gives better protection against rough weather conditions, sea water, intense sun, etc. and also require less maintenance over the year. Side panels can be made to fit up to 2.3 metres wide opening space without using glazing bars.

Glass

Glazing bars

Glazing bars let to create own sliding and folding doors ‘design. Panorama Nordic offers different kind of glazing bars either for wooden or aluminium cladded sliding and folding doors. Glazing bars are available for both double and triple glass units.glazing bars: sprosses; mullions, duplexes.

	*Spross* – Wooden bars separating and supporting window panes. Available size options: For wooden doors - 60 - 95 mm, >95-140 mm For aluminium cladded doors - 62 mm, 95 mm, 125 mm
	*Duplex with mullions* - the decorative glazing bars are glued onto the glass panes from both sides plus there is an aluminium spacer bar between the glass panes which makes the glazing bar look very real. Available size options: 12x20, 12x24, 12x30.
	*Mullion* – the glazing bars are glued onto the glass panes from both sides. Available size options: 27x9, 45x9, 65x9.
	Wiener- Glazing bars inside the glass unit. Available size options: 18 mm, 26 mm, 45 mm.

Ventilation

Ventilation can be installed in the fixed panel of the sliding door or every second panel of folding door. Sliding or folding doors are delivered with integrated ventilation and no additional installation work needs to be done. Panorama Nordic offers Biobe or Trimvent 90 ventilation types.
